Read this if you are a Dear Reader of Cath in College who also happens to be a prospective freshman for the Stanford Class of 2021!
Oh hey there ’21 bun.
I believe this is the first time I have extended my hand to you as a class, so please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Catherine, I’m a junior at Stanford, and I am so so so excited to help welcome you to the class of 2021. YOU DID IT! 😀
If you’re going to be around this Admit Weekend and would like to come say hi, I would LOVE to meet you. I will be hosting a very casual hangout on the oval (like last year) on Friday, April 28, from 1-3 PM. Come stop by, say hello, listen to some music, and meet fellow ’21 bunz!
Hope to see you there!
Xoxo

Cath,
I am a prospective English major. I was wondering, have you ever considered being a creative writing or English major? You love writing and you do it so often.
Just a curious CIC member,

Hi Cath!
I love your videos and your blogs. I applied to stanford and got rejected, and i am going to Tufts. Does it make me less of a person to get rejected from Stanford?

I’m not Cath, but of course, it does not. How has Tufts been treating you?

Cath! I am not a 2021 admit (my only regret about the college process is not applying to Stanford), but I need advice because I am going to have to put a deposit somewhere in NINE days. I am so split between Johns Hopkins and William & Mary (same price for me, same size school). I have revisited both, talked to students at both, like both locations… I have no idea what to do. I could really use some advice!

Hey Idabelle! Given that I don’t attend either university, I don’t think I could really help you all that much. Thanks so much for your love and support of CiC!
