Ok Dear Reader. I’m about to break a couple rules, here.
You all know I’m not here to preach. I mentioned in the Q&A video I did with Gus and Michaela that you shouldn’t trust me. By that, I meant that nobody should take anybody else’s word for gospel, including mine. Everything that comes out of my mouth is filtered through my perspective, after all. I’m not here to dump my worldview on you, nor attempt to convince you that it’s better than yours. *shudders* God, no.
You also know I’m not a fitness blogger. Despite the fact that staying active and eating well are both significant elements of my personal lifestyle, I’ve never written on CiC about my fitness journey to any extent beyond mentioning The Morning Pump™ a couple of times. There are two reasons for this. First: CiC is not a fitness blog. Plain and simple. Second: I never wanted my readers to misinterpret any discussion about working out and clean eating as me rubbing my lifestyle choices into their eyeballs. Like I said, I’m not here to preach.
But you done changed the game, Dear Reader. You see, you showed me a different perspective– YOUR perspective– and in turn, you changed my mind. (And God, I love ya for it.)
Your host of awesome questions regarding health and fitness in college made me reconsider whether or not I could talk about what I’ve learned over my fitness journey without it qualifying as “advice.” I can tell you what I’ve learned. I can show you what OTHERS have learned. We can have a big online pool party (minus the booze and floaties) where we share ideas about how to get the most out of a quick workout between classes and how to dine like kings and queens on a staving student budget without turning CiC into a fitness blog! You insipred me to take on a new challenge, DR. And that’s why we’re here today.
I am super DUPER excited to announce that TODAY we’re kicking off CiC’s first ever blog post-video series:
Over the next two weeks, you’ll be getting answers to all your questions regarding health and fitness in college– and NOT JUST FROM ME! (This is the part I’m REALLY excited about.)
