While everyone else was slaving away with final exams at the end of Spring Quarter, I was hanging out with a homeless guy. Meet Chuck Jagoda: Friend, grandfather, former teacher, and one of the friendliest gentlemen I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
The above video is my final project for the Advanced Digital Media Journalism class I took this past quarter. I learned more in the ten weeks of that class than I did in the past four years of my journalism career combined. The project is called “We’re you’: What it’s like to be Homeless in Silicon Valley.” You can find the full article on Peninsula Press here: LINK.
I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoy finally being done with it! 😉
Einen shönen Tag,*
*I think that means have a nice day? I’ve been learning German over the past couple of days like young children do: By listening, repeating, and judging by people’s reactions if I correctly interpreted what a word/phrase means. A face like this…
…usually means I got it right, and a face like this…
…means I’m probably a little off.
